HubSpot continually encourages me to step out of my comfort zone. In my short time here I’ve had opportunities to lead teams, participate in go-to-market strategies, and give presentations/talks in front of 200+ people. I’m constantly being encouraged to try new things and push my boundaries.

How does HubSpot help you grow, professionally and personally?
Working with our partner community has really enabled me to be able to stretch my professional skillset. I have a background in both marketing and sales, and so aligning that with our partner community, and being able to guide/coach them while also learning from them about their business goals, plans and execution has been incredible. I have been able to have first hand insight into running a business, servicing clients, and propelling growth/revenue.
What's been one of your proudest moments at HubSpot so far?
When I first started as a sales manager, I was tasked with building a team from the ground up. I had to hire 7 brand new sales reps in under 5 months, training all of them and making sure they were set up for success. I'm super proud of not only our metrics/overachievement (first year trailing average over 100%), but also the uniquely team-oriented, immensely helpful to one another, culture we were able to build and sustain.
We've learned a lot from other companies — about everything from hiring sales teams to asking prospects the right questions. We try to pay it forward by sharing our ideas and insights, too.
